Meet Carolyn Brienen
Carolyn Brienen has been a master in her domain since 1962. She discovered her calling as a hair dresser, received her training in Prince George and fostered her scissor skill-set alongside her mother-in-law. Fast forward a few years to 1978 after getting married and having children, Carolyn purchased the popular beauty salon - Shear Delight in her community of Houston, BC.
Today she enjoys being a great-grandmother, devoting her time to her passion for hair and her spiritual work. As a real people-person, Carolyn thrives when she is surrounded by familiar faces and newcomers alike. "Houston, it is home to me and I get to visit all day long. People love me and I love them. Houston has been very good to me,” remarks the Shear Delight owner fondly.
